Friends of the Bereaved

- This compassionate ministry offers comfort and support to grieving families by lovingly providing a beautiful reception following funeral and memorial services. Each year, the ministry also hosts a reception following the All Souls Day Mass for families who have lost a loved one.
  
  The ministry is organized into three teams:
  
  Room Setup & Take-Down: Creates a welcoming setting by arranging tables, lighting candles, displaying memorabilia, and preparing the room before each reception. Afterward, the team restores the room and cleans up.
  
  Food Volunteers: Prepare salads and desserts at home and deliver them to the church before the reception.
  
  Servers: Help plate and arrange food, prepare and serve beverages, and wash dishes. Through their warm and respectful service, they often have the opportunity to offer quiet encouragement and support to grieving families.

  The member-level commitment is flexible. One can participate in any or all teams based on availability.
