Our motto:

It’s not about the quilt, but rather the prayers tied into the quilt.

A prayer quilt is the visible & tangible evidence of faith in God.
The prayer ties are the knots that hold our fabric of life together.
 
Recipients of our quilts include:

• UTSW Medical Center
• Children’s Craniofacial Organization
• Hospice
• Nursing homes
• VA hospital
• Children’s Hospital
• Individuals encountering a difficult journey in their lives
• Birth Choice Center

 
Our ministry also participates in many parish events:

• Seton Galas
• Women’s Club Holiday Bazaar
• Men’s Club Casino Night
• Fall Fest
• Lone Rose Sunday
• Christmas Angel tree
• Mardi Gras

 
Knowing how to quilt is not necessary; there are many ways to contribute your time and skills: 

• Sew prayer ties into a quilt
• Help piece together a top
• Hand-sew a binding
• Attach a label
• Donate cotton fabric, thread, or batting
• Monetary donation
• Pray for quilt recipients

We meet every Tuesday for a workshop in Rooms 107 & 109 in the Seton Faith Formation Center

• Workshop Hours: Every Tuesday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Monthly Meeting: Third Tuesday from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
