Frances Bernero Maiorino, age 86, of Plano, Texas passed away on December 10, 2015. She was born on December 9, 1929 in Memphis, Tennessee to Dorothy Gladys (Durbin) and Elbert Bernero. Frances was an Accountant.
Frances is survived by her seven children, Ronald V. Maiornio of Plano, Texas, Karen L. Maiorino of Garland, Texas, Susan G. Maiorino of Garland, Texas, Cynthia A. Maiorino of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Toni M. Macaluso of Plano, Texas, Christopher B. Maiorino of Carrollton, Texas and Shawn V. Maiorino of Knoxville, Tennessee; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numberous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frances is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheri F. Maiorino; father of her children, Vincent A. Maiorino; five sisters and one brother.
A Memorial Service Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023, on Friday, January 8 at 3:00 p.m. with Father Russ Mower, presiding. Reception is in the Seton Room.

Aside from his love for family he was very passionate about traveling our beautiful country by any back road he could find on “Betty”, his Harley. At the end of every long day of riding he would have a Jack-man Dew, listen to Texas country music and send an email summarizing his day on the road to all his followers.
Janet was born February 17, 1938 a proud New Yorker to William and Jean (Carey) Quinn. She realized early on that she had a passion for helping people and she went on to earn her degree in nursing. She was a dedicated registered nurse her whole career. Toward the end of her career, she was a dedicated Hospice nurse. Many people were touched by her loving care. Janet loved her family and friends. She moved to Florida in 1989 to be near good friends and the beach she loved so much. She also loved a “good bargain” at Ross! She was a wonderful mother and friend and she will be missed dearly.
Stephen Anthony Filipski died Saturday, November 7th, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois while visiting his beloved grandchildren. “Big Steve” was born on October 8, 1949, the oldest of seven children of Leonard and Marie Filipski. He graduated from Elmhurst College, where he met the love of his life, Linda Gorgo Filipski.
Thomas M. "Dewey" DuRoss was born on April 14, 1951 to Joe and Alice DuRoss in Los Angeles, California. He passed away suddenly on November 8, 2015 after a day spent with people he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jim. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Kathryn M. "Kass" DuRoss; his four children, Annie (Kevin Babuder), Tommy (Nicole), Matthew, and Neil; his siblings Neil, Kathleen, Joe, Danny, and Paul; his grandchildren, Patrick and Claire; numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws; and countless friends, all of whom will sorely miss his warmth and sense of humor. Robert “B.T.” Edward Thomas, Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. B.T. was born in Baltimore, Maryland where he graduated from Catonsville High School in 1966. His passion for golf started at an early age when he worked as a golf caddy in Maryland. He later enjoyed a 25-year career as a PGA Golf Professional which began in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, as the Head Golf Professional for The Country Club of Hilton Head, Director of Golf for The Golf Club at Indigo Run and The Golden Bear Golf Club. In 1998, B.T. transferred to Brookhaven Country Club of Dallas where he dedicated 10 years to the success of tournament operations and member and charity golf events.
Lenore Ann Maitre was born June 28, 1929 in Coon Rapids, Iowa to parents Francis and Eunice Drake and she passed away on October 17, 2015 in Plano, Texas. Her last days were spent peacefully and surrounded by family at her daughter and son in law’s home in Plano, Texas where she lived for the past 14 years.
Nemesio Cava Jr. was born in the Philippines in the province of Zambales. He was the youngest of 11 children. He had fond memories of his early youth in the Philippines often recalling swimming in the ocean and greeting the American soldiers after the war with "Hi Joe" as some of them showered the kids with candies and treats. As he grew up, his siblings one by one started immigrating to the US, most through US military service. Often at the receiving end of gifts from his siblings coming home to visit, he could have continued a very carefree life, until meeting his future bride by chance.
Our beloved mother, Engracia Amadore Pascua, was called to her eternal home while surrounded by her loved ones on October 1st of 2015, at her home in Plano, Texas. She was born on May 7th of 1916 in Samar, Philippines, to Jose and Raymunda Amadore.
Maryjane Newberry died September 15, 2015 as a result of a fatal car accident. We know Maryjane is in heaven with the Lord and her beloved Mary.
James Charles Bormann passed from this world on August 28, 2015. He was born on January 29, 1953. James was the second of five children born to Vern and Zita (Fandel) Bormann in Whittemore, Iowa. James graduated from Garrigan High School in 1971 in Algona, Iowa. He married Bonnie Bailey on November 22, 1975 in Dallas, Texas.
Texas, passed away on July 15, 2015. Gerald was born to Leroy Judson Davis and Geraldine Williamson Davis on August 16, 1927 in Lubbock, Texas. Gerald, also known as “Dingy” to his family and high school friends, graduated from Lubbock High School in 1946. He met his first wife Mary Louise Norris in the summer of 1948 at the Lubbock Mackenzie State Park swimming pool where he was the head lifeguard. He followed Mary Lou back to her hometown of Calgary, Alberta and they married on August 29, 1949. They were married 37 years and had six children. Mary Lou predeceased her husband on May 20, 1987. In 1988, Gerald met Marca Jones when she answered the telephone at the other end of a business call and they married five years later on July 17, 1993 in Dallas, Texas. Marca was his beloved wife until the time of his death.
Joe Bollinger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He married his wife, Irma Galindo, on November 24, 1965 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Lubbock, TX. He was a 1960 graduate of Athens High School and a graduate of Texas Tech University. He served in the Air National Guard from 1964 to 1970. Afterward, he worked for General Dynamics, Ralston Purina, and Clark Equipment before becoming the Physical Plant Director at South Plains College in Levelland, TX. In 2003, he retired after 22 years with the college. In 2012, he and his wife moved to Frisco, TX to live closer to their children and grandchildren. Throughout his life, he generously donated his time to various community organizations and his church.
I was born with CHARGE Syndrome and Deaf-Blindness, but that is not what defined me. I was awesome at Tae Kwon Do, gymnastics, rock climbing, and the cupid shuffle. I could communicate with people even if they don’t know sign language. Life was so joyful, that there was rarely a time I did not smile.
Sylvia Curlin Boyd, 78, passed away peacefully June 2, 2015 in Plano, TX. Sylvia was born on June 4, 1936 in Tampa, FL to Muriel Fox and Roger B. Curlin, Sr. She was happily married to Albert L. Boyd, Jr. for 57 years.
